Starting in May as the sap flow in the vines builds momentum, waves of dandelions and vibrant violet Creeping Charlie suddenly light up the vineyard floor, and the annual cycle of dazzling flora that carries the spirit of the vineyard begins. Our favorite moment lies mid-summer, when the various hues of thistle intermixed with chicory speckle the vineyard amongst blankets of delicate Queen Anne’s Lace.
